Australia already has a league winning women's football team that has 5 male players, next year all 11 perhaps.

Male manager of female team = meh

Male goalkeeper on female team = cheat

I wonder what qualities this goalkeeper exudes? Perhaps qualities this manager shares?

We all know its nothing to do with skill and everything to do with undeniable physical differences between men and women - and by pretending it's a civil rights issue, a case of inclusivity, they can tip the scales of advantage towards this cheating team.

But for how long?

As another poster has said: let them "man" their whole team with these players. And every other team will do the same. Soon we will have an A league of male players - and a B league of mediocre male cheats. Wonder what will disappear first once that happens? The gender feels or the sponsorship? I give it three seasons and a new sex-based women's division.

These men will not be remembered well. But neither will the managers or teams that went along with it.

Just to be clear - the female goalkeeper has been sacked.
The new goalkeeper believes that trans women are at a disadvantage playing against women. There's no comment from the sacked goalkeeper.

Has he elaborated on why he thinks they're at a disadvantage?

I doubt the male players would be happy if all the places on the team were taken by trans identifying men. They wouldn't enjoy the changing rooms and showers half as much if all the real women left.

Why would that be at all likely, "Lucy"? How more blatant could they be?

So wrong to see the outgoing female / incoming male goalie of this WOMEN'S team ffs. Wonder if taking pictures will be discouraged at their matches now, as per the Flying Bats - pretty logical next step in the destruction of women's sport.

I really feel that the women in that team have to take a stand.

All of their jobs are at stake.

Any of them can be replaced by a man.

It's cheating - plain and simple.

TBF those colours are fairly standard in the men's game as the bright colours stand out against the grass.

Having a biological male as a goalkeeper is particularly dangerous in my opinion. They run directly at the other players and use their fists at head height in a way other positions can't.

There is also a lot of press about the risks of brain damage from heading the ball. Women are particularly vulnerable because of our weaker necks and skulls. Now imagine the force of the kick of a male goalie and the poor midfielder who is expected to head that. Heading the ball is no joke - even from a weaker female kick. I often used to 'blink out' for a moment - this the best way I can describe it. I have to live with the risk of suffering dementia or depression, caused by damage I did my brain because male coaches forced us to head the ball because 'it's not dangerous'.

Trans manager - stay out of the changing room. Trans team member = cheat.

Women who play in the team are condoning cheating.
