Amanda Abbington is currently doing a play in London (not a big theatre, an off-West End play) about a mother whose daughter is sexually assaulted, and the effects of this event on the whole family.
In an interview which I think came out before the whole Strictly blew up, she said she was very determined to do this play and I totally can see why she really wanted to tell that story.
It's a pretty interesting play if anyone is around London and would like to see it. We saw it at the weekend and it's pretty thought provoking and quite shocking at times.
