Dogs do not have genders. Gender is an entirely human concept. Imposing it onto animals is cruelty. They recognise sex; occasionally display homosexual behaviour; some primates have shown a certain amount of what might be described as gendered behaviours using the old-fashioned meaning of gender; but they do not hold gender identities 🤦‍♀️
