Hadley peaked me. I was a guardian reader for years and years and I'd always loved her writing and when I discovered she was leaving the paper I commented under her last article wishing her well and another commentator had put a link to Private Eye and Unherd to show the real reason she'd quit. I followed the links and the rest is history.

So I always like it when she writes a zinger like this! She started me on this mad journey. My eyes have been opened.

Perfectly straight talking. BTW I didn't know Caster Semenya had ever said this, I thought the whole schtick was, "I'm just a girl who wants to run and everyone should be kind".

I'd say she pulls no punches in that excellent article but I'm too angry to make daft jokes. That photo paints a thousand words though. Shame on those male cheaters. And no, I'm not going to just blame the IOC who allowed it. Those men are the ones who got into the ring and hit women with the full force male advantage.

I'm pleased that the Olympics had raised this issue to the general public more so than before.

That picture is horrific. Out of interest, is it normal for female Olympic boxers to get facial cuts and bleed everywhere when fighting other women?
