Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

Been a good week all round, what is on the horizon?

So we have Wes Streeting up holding the ban on puberty blockers, the subsequent insane rantings of The Fox Killer, the fantastic report condemning how suicide is discussed in the trans debate. Mirdul Wadha being placed on leave after sacking a service provider because she felt service users had the right to know the sex of the people they are working with.

Coming up we have the results of Allison Baileys appeal of the tribunal decision against Stonewall (fingers crossed for this one), the outcome of the Charity Commission investigation into Mermaids can't be too far off.

Anything else on the horizon?

Hmm. Well the 'feminist' that's been announced to help review the curriculum has some tra mates so I'm afraid I'm not as jubilant as I could be.

Never expect anything in life and you won’t be disappointed is my motto

Also, the young man discussed in this thread is now behind bars and likely to remain there for a considerable period. Some posters there are not sure it is the Decapitate Terfs youth, but I think it is.

And another delightful Scottish activist - I think his guilty verdict was this week too, or maybe last, and the extra info is another reason why MW is not likely to return to ERCC: https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/womens_rights/5121986-5121986-cameron-downing-former-snp-equalities-officer-sentenced-for-a-catalogue-of-attacks-claimed-to-have-accessed-services-at-edinburgh-rape-crisis-centre-ercc?reply=136879400

I know it happened more than a week ago, but I'm still beaming at the memory of the absolute trouncing the SNP got in the General Election. Their gender policies undoubtedly played a part. Bring on the next Scottish government elections!

Hopeful to hear good news in the Allison Bailey vs Stonewall case. Should hear early next week? (Fingers and toes crossed).

Don't forget Webberley losing her licence and Jolyon getting his arse kicked.

But agree with pp. Caution. Health is heading in the right direction, education is not. And the backlash is going to be a bitch.

I am not celebrating Webberly losing her licence. I think only jail time will stop that ghoul.

Education is indeed still a worry. Just heard my local girls school is accepting boys
