The details of this are horrific and I'm lost for words, just how could they repeatedly let him out to attack women like this

Appalling. Do we know why he was in for? I'd rather not reread to find out. Why the fuck are these men allowed out?

He was escalating rapidly over those few days, I'm sure we can all imagine what the next development would have been.

I hope that the two women who ran off at least called for help for the other poor woman.

Hopefully, young women who seem to have been brainwashed into thinking women are as strong as men will note that he actually overcame three women in that final attack: the woman he raped and the two he scared off by threats.

Horrific. He was on a binge, making the most of it before he was locked again. Those poor women. Struck on the head, she could have been killed or permanently disabled.
