Saw this posted on Ovarit. Can anyone confirm if this is a real sticker sold by KJK and SFW? Awful messaging if so. Hoping it's some TRA hoax.

It needs to be clearer. It looks like gay pp trampling on women whereas it should be LGBTQI Progress people trampling.

It's perfectly clear - gay people are trampling on women

Rhaidimiddim · 15/07/2024 13:14

What is offensive about it?

Like the Denton’s play book, we are not meant to acknowledge what is actually happening.

Blackcats7 · 15/07/2024 13:22

I think it should be a pink and blue flag otherwise most people will think women are against gay people when in fact the very opposite is true.

This is about LBGTQ+ crushing women, not the other way round. Because so many gay people are objecting the ‘LBGTQ+’, to Pride in its current form, to surrogacy…. Except they aren’t.

ANameChangePresents · 15/07/2024 13:24

You can be anti gay lobby without being anti gay people fwiw.

I'm fine with individual gay people. I'm less in favour of specific Pride events which enable acts of public indecency in the presence of children.

It's hard to capture such nuance in a sticker. The stickers aren't manifestos. They are meant to drive discourse.

You do realise that a lot of women are gay and that a lot of gay people are women. Because it sounds like you've forgotten that bit.

Rainbows are associated with the gay community (homosexuals, for avoidance of doubt). Many would find the visual implication that gayness is harming women to be homophobic. Especially people who aren't in the guts of the GC debate.

The "pride protest" pack in general could look quite homophobic and I wish she would stop encouraging it.

A lot of lesbians these days avoid Pride or are prevented from joining in unless they agree with gender ideology.

Pride is not an easy place to be a woman these days.

CocoapuffPuff · 15/07/2024 14:25

Forced teaming, hitching the TQ + to the LGB wagon, means the rainbow no longer represents what it used to, in some minds.
Not in mine, and not in whoever created this sticker, I'd guess.
If only the leech had been removed earlier but sadly it may be too deeply embedded.
As to the meaning of the sticker - sister, I feel that exact way in every cell of my body.

Yes, when you see the visual images of the straight men colonising Pride in the name of TQ+.....

I've not forgotten. I've also not forgotten Tom Daley, Elton John, Mr Queer Eye and all the other gay men buying babies, posing on hospital beds with their bought children, discarding the Mothers and fighting for surrogacy which is slavery.

What is the "gay lobby" exactly and why would you be anti it?

UpThePankhurst · 15/07/2024 15:20

Worth following up the lead of the Gay Mens Network on all this, no a hell of a lot of LGB people are not ok with ideology that says they should learn to be straight and learn to cope with unwanted straight sex so they don't upset TQ+ people who wish to have their fantasy sexual experiences (but this is not apparently conversion therapy.... go figure....) but are repeatedly told they don't exist, are all wrong and stupid and not the right kind of gay, yada yada.

Always interesting to see the people who have no problem at all with the actions and harms but really object to the offensiveness of anyone mentioning and pointing it out. Probably because those actions and harms can only happen without sunlight. And often because those people are in fact deeply uncomfortable with what they're enabling if they have to actually think about it.

<Fondly remembers the person who wanted me to accept that I had a duty to provide straight sex to men for the betterment of men and society, and also identified passionately as this not being misogynist, homophobic or rapey because the idea of that really upset them.>

Cailleach1 · 15/07/2024 15:31

But… , but… , isn’t the buying and exploiting of women’s bodies, plus the sale of children progressive now? Isn’t that the propaganda? It would be inconvenient (especially to men who want to order babies) to call it out for the same abuse as it ever was. Eastern Europe, India etc has just the right amount of economic need to source the women who are desperate enough, or vulnerable, to do it.

AstonScrapingsNameChange · 15/07/2024 15:45

Just been to the hospital for a mammogram.

Am ambulance parked outside had a progress flag in the window, which I found fucking offensive and inappropriate. Would they have a pro Gaza, or Reform flag, or any other political statement on an ambulance? Political ideology has no place in healthcare. The progress flag is all pervasive and has come to mean 'anti women' as it signifies gender will be given priority over sex.

But who cares what women think eh? I can't get my head around offence being taken at some stickers, but not about the removal of women's rights.

Stonewall I guess? Pink News? It's not my exact position. I just know you can be anti-political-lobby group (of any stripe/cause) without hating individuals of that identity.

dementedpixie · 15/07/2024 11:48

Truth hurts!

CheeseSandwichRiskAssessment · 15/07/2024 16:57

This thread reminds me of when people are sympathetic to rapists rather than their victims, "ruining a young man's life" etc.

Sloejelly · 15/07/2024 17:12

Last I saw, they had distanced themselves from rainbows.

RhymesWithOrange · 15/07/2024 17:41

There's a lot of LGB people and allies who feel unhappy and alienated by the "progress" flag and the Pride™️ movement. There's a lot of women who feel that Pride™️ has been weaponised against women and girls. That's what that sticker represents. It's not meant to be homophobic, as far as I'm concerned.

Very much so. The lead is Dennis Noel Kavanaugh, who has written some very insightful articles on why so many lesbian and gay people have become alienated. Well worth a read.

IceQueenoftheWest · 15/07/2024 18:16

Perfectly clear, not offensive, attempt at sowing division/KJK bashing noted and seen.
Toddles off to buy some, thanks to OP for advertising them

DO NOT click this link if easily offended.

Clue: the graphic uses a design flaw in a particular flag to reference another flag that was common in Europe from 1933-45.

Didn't Mr fox get into quite a lot of bother over that? I seem to recall a lot of unhappy he/she/thems.

So you believe that "Super Pride" hasn't had a deleterious impact on women's rights. OK
