It's telling that on the day of a general election where all of the major party leaders are male and the number of female candidates has sunk to 30%, the Guardian has decided to promote an all-male line-up on its opinion pages (not for the first time). Eight out of eight columnists/ cartoonists are men (one of whom is one of those aforementioned male leaders). It's probably not surprising, given their recent track record, but it's pretty poor.
