Anne Widdicome sounded very clear in her outline of Reform Party’s policies. The first point was protecting women and our rights against the demands of the transgender movement. The interviewer quickly passed over what was said and turned to other issues eg, what the various random in the party are up to. Absolutely unambiguous and it was as if she hadn’t spoken. This is being outrageously mishandled and ignored. I imagine there will be people voting for them on the basis of this.

Woman's Hour has a habit of avoiding the topic of women's right v Genderism if at all possible or, if it cannot be ignored, to discuss it in an adversarial or inept manner. Emma Barnett was beginning to have sensible discussions with guests in recent months but she's left WH and gone elsewhere so that's that breath of fresh air over and done with 😏

I stopped listening to WH years ago because I feel they're deliberately ignoring an important topic that affects the lives of all women.
