If he has far right opinions then its right it was actioned to Prevent. Thats why anyone in a safeguarding role has to complete Prevent duty training.

From what's been reported there, his views would be supported by the vast majority of the British public.

I think he was untoward towards terrorists.

In a letter to the school in South Tyneside - seen by the Mail - his mother detailed how he was subjected to vile verbal abuse, Nazi salutes and was 'forced to drink another child's urine'.

This is appalling and needs more than a letter to the school.

I wonder how many of the children making Nazi salutes and asking this Jewish boy if the school showers reminded him of the gas chambers (from FairCop's thread) were also reported to Prevent by the school?

When I say I just cant believe it, it is because it just seems incredible that even after media publicity, Cass Review, etc., etc., a school would refer a child to Prevent.

What type of hysterical over reaction is that. Either there is some nutter in the school admin system of they have been so Stonewalled they just had a knee jerk reaction.

And if as the story suggests he put together the video because of bullying he is really brave, and it shames the teachers and whatever safeguarding system that he couldn't turn to them for support.

The bullies should be sent to Prevent.

Prevent is a monster that needs taking behind the barn and shooting. It was intended as a means of intimidating Muslims with the wrong opinions and now it's spread its tentacles.

The Tories under Cameron wanted to be able to impose banning orders on people the state seems "extremist" (people who the state deem extreme but do not carry out or incite violence). These orders would have greatly restricted the civil rights of people who didn't break the law.

I see Mark Rowley wants to be able to act against people who don't break the law.

The political class seems to be composed of people who have forgotten the totalitarian horrors of the 20th century, that we were in armed standoff with and defined ourselves against countries with such laws.

He doesn't seem to have any far right connections. The school decided that his legally protected views are extreme, even though they're not. In my opinion, they have bullied and harassed him and if the mother is correct, so have the Police.

The school did nothing about the horrible campaign of bullying and anti-Semitic abuse, which he was subjected to, but decided that, because he's gay and not a subscriber to trans ideology, that he's an extremist.

It's glaringly obvious that Prevent has been armed and aimed at a Jewish lad to enhance the antisemitic campaign which the school did nothing to counter. They should have been knocking at the doors of the bullies.
