My 16-month old & I were denied entry on a @united flight back to Austin bc I used the wrong pronoun for the attendant. We have no luggage, nothing. we’re stranded in San Francisco. What are my rights? @el

We finally made it home late evening. What happened to us was not right. Still no apology or refunds offered. Traveling with a toddler is challenging enough but @united made the journey so much worse. Not a family friendly airline.

That's disgusting. On twitter the airline asked her to pm them her details so they could look into it, but no apology or attempt to get her home. I hope she sues and I hope other customers vote with their wallets and united airlines go bust.

It sounds appalling. But I would like more facts before I make a judgement.

The airline suggested it was about baggage allowance (I have seen how much stuff they let people get on with) but the recording suggests otherwise.
