You should all be watching this.

If you are short on time, skip episode 1. Episode 2 is essential viewing.

Please forward the recommendation to your local prospective MP and to David Tennant.

I’m just baffled how SR could film this and not see the modern parallels with what’s happening to women right now

Well, when your continued employment/not being cancelled/attacked/doxxed/trolled depends on NOT seeing something, I'd imagine it's pretty easy.

The second episode DOES cover a lot of ground on this.

Is she TWAW then?

There was this interview in the Guardian about this programme.

https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/article/2024/jun/21/if-you-want-to-call-me-a-witch-thats-fine-suranne-jones-on-magic-misogyny-and

“It’s all fear-based, because if you feel like you are being targeted, the easiest thing to do is to point a finger and target someone else,” says Jones. “It’s ‘Let’s mistrust other women’, even in those feminist circles, and especially with trans women, I know that for sure.”

...when one day she posted on social media about “working with someone who was advising on a trans character”, she could not believe the abusive comments. “I was like, oh my God, this is what this person gets every day? And then aimed at me as an ally. It’s frightening, isn’t it?”

‘If you want to call me a witch … that’s fine’: Suranne Jones on magic, misogyny and murder

She has always loved mysticism, shamanism and crystals – but until now, she’s kept it a secret. Her new documentary brings it all out into the open

I would also recommend the BBCSounds podcast “Witch”

OldCrone · 28/06/2024 13:26

And she wouldn't engage when asked about the trans issue on the Today programme.

God, she's dumb then!

Her own argument totally blows her own position up.
