Jesus Christ. They’re not even in power yet and already not prepared to offer any assurances on gender guidance. Anyone who votes for Labour at this point is insane.

Labour avoids committing to draft schools gender guidance

Bridget Phillipson says draft guidance has some "good" parts but "other elements" are "too partisan".

We are completely fucked. Note what she kept refusing to say. What is the 'language' that she found so offensive? Biological words maybe?

We can only hope at this point that Badenoch gets re-elected and points out every fucking dreadful thing that they are going to do with regard to children and 'gender' education.

I am so depressed by this as a person who works in child safeguarding.

Every bloody time they open their mouths... 😡This is just disgraceful.

I'm so sad and frustrated tonight - the guidance isn't offensive on this topic. I noted in particular in this section and earlier in the document that there is a focus on making sure external resources are shared with parents. I'm sure there is strong pushback on this from certain external providers but I don't see how any politicians can view this as a negative step.

I've read that, it's good stuff, isn't it? But I suspect they're 'the wrong kind of men'.
