Lesbians continue to face discrimination throughout society.
It is time to speak out and fightback.

Support lesbians not lesbian erasure.

1. Lesbians are women who are attracted to and love other women. They are female homosexuals which means they are same-sex attracted.
2. Men cannot be lesbians because men cannot be women and boys cannot be girls.
3. Many tomboys will grow up to be lesbian. Rejecting femininity is a common lesbian choice; it does not mean that girls or women are trying to be, or are, male.
4. Lesbians have the right to create and maintain their own spaces, free from male interference, for social, cultural, educational, and political activities.
5. Lesbians have the right to discuss matters which affect them without being abused, harassed or intimidated.
6. Lesbians have the right to exist as an independent group and not be teamed with any other group with different needs.

They sound similar to Get the L Out, The L Community and The Lesbian Project. I'm glad these groups are starting to pop up!

I think that's the point of the declaration, which is supported by many of these groups.

Just think it is a shame they are only on twitter, as so few people have acess to it.

Lesbian Fightback are in the process of setting up a webpage. We started on twitter 3 years ago. Got 3000 followers in one week. Since we have been growing our network and now have 50 Lesbians representing 25 groups and organisations. We do that in private via whatsapp and zooms. It allows Lesbians to quickly respond and also to know what is going on in our underground Lesbian culture. That's where we are thriving because we are not welcome in LGBTQ or "queer" spaces. Oh FFS. Why am I not surprised.

Is any one surprised that men should think they can tell lesbians what is or is not appropriate?

No doubt lesbians will soon be issues with a handbook (MANual) telling lesbians the correct way to be a lesbian.

Well done all 👏 . Crazy to be in this position of having to fight back in the first place.

I will always support lesbians fighting for their right to be same sex attracted and not censured or coerced for excluding men as romantic partners, whatever their inner feelings.

On Saturday in a pub in Brighton I picked up a flyer for Lesbian weekend in Scotland. And low and behold the invite includes transwomen.

I am extremely worried for young women who just dont conform to gender stereotypes, the tomboys, many of whom would grow up lesbian - but they are now told they are boys, medicalised, mutilated and their healthy bodies destroyed for ever - Lesbians are being erased. The Cass Report identified over 89% of young girls/women were wrongly Transed and were just same sex attracted. This is horrific - no other group of humans are being butchered in the name of “kindness”. This medical scandal is highlighted by German research showing over 72% of young women detransition - by which time or course they are irreversibly damaged for life. And our political parties are using us as some badge of honour as they spout ever lasting love for LGBTQIA+ whilst ignoring and wilfully destroying the L

This is a huge problem as most places now are so scared of trans they let them in. But what is trans??? There is no clear definition as it includes heterosexual men who like cross dressing ie transvestites - they dont consider themselves to be a woman, they dont have body dysmorphia, yet we now cant keep them out of single sex spaces.

Change took the petition down so we have migrated to i-petitions. Sorry to have to start all over 968 people had signed the other in 4 days. If you do sign again for us take note the money they ask for goes to i- petition not Lesbian Fightback.
Thanks for your solidarity. Whilst we fight for Women's sex- based rights we also need to fight for Lesbians' sex- based right! Not quite the same thing.
