I noticed this with the Harry Potter game from last year too. Fans of JK Rowling would say they would intentionally buy multiple copies as if to make some sort of point they were doing it to "spite" trans people.

It's not the win or "flex" you think it is. JK Rowling is a billionaire and doesn't need any extra royalties from people buying Harry Potter pencil cases and various other stuff with Daniel and Emma's 12 year old faces on it they don't even need or have any use for. She has more money than any of us can imagine or ever use up. Giving money to Rowling would be like pouring a glass of water into the sea to give it a drink.

So go ahead and buy all her stuff, noone cares.
