Most of this on on Xtwitter, and a bit hard to follow.

But here is a thread reader which I think explains clearly what happened (and acknowledges the brilliant t-shirt worn by this brave speaker!).

(If any one as more info, or an easier to access source please to add. Just thought that this heroine should not go unacknowledged)

@Fiona44444: The outstanding woman of the day goes to Jan Baxter who spoke bravely against 2 motions tabled at the PCS Union conference. The first included an already disproven attack on Cass. #cass #unions #sexreal...…

Jan's passion in those videos is palpable. It must have been daunting, Jan is now another woman that has given me a bit more courage.

Is there any way for gender critical PCS members to connect?

Through joining SEEN if you're civil service?

Through joining SEEN if you're civil service?

Definitely worth doing this, it’s a great way to keep in touch, discuss, and enjoy your lawful rights 😊

Just listened to her speech. Well done Jan - speaking out in such a toxic environment must have taken considerable courage.

Well done Jan!

I've left the PCS over this issue (amongst other reasons) and joined another, more independent union. I'm done with stupid men making life difficult for me at work. I push back carefully but I know the PCS won't be there to support me.

I'm a (male) rep with PCS and had the privilege of seeing Jan stand up for women's rights at conference. I also voted against the two motions, and while saddened to see how few of us did, I recognise that some do not feel able to be open with their views.

I'm also a member of SEEN and am working to bring together GC trade unionists from a variety of unions to campaign that those members with GC views are not only represented, but feel welcome within their groups.

Thanks for info. I’ll also look into SEEN when back at work.

Is there any link to the videos that aren't on Twitter? The thread reader still isn't working for me.
