Blistering article by Jean Hatchet in the Critic

https://thecritic.co.uk/gender-and-josef-k/

Reminds me of how disorientating I found the whole subject and that was in the relative privacy of my own head. To go through what these women have gone through!? Utter madness. To be disclined for...not knowing human can't change sex (everyone knows that)...not pretending that they can.

Nurse Amy Hamm in Canada, I think it's about four years now since her ordeal started, still ongoing.

Gender and Josef K. | Jean Hatchet | The Critic Magazine

Last week a tribunal found that Roz Adams, a former employee of Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre, had been discriminated against for her gender critical views and belief in biological sex.

I experienced a tiny bit of what these women went through: under investigation, threat of being sacked, anonymous informants/complainers etc etc about 7 years ago. Wasn't allowed to speak about it publicly. It was 6 months of my life I would not care to repeat.

I don't know how women like Roz Adams and Amy Hamm bear it.

Great article - and absolutely chilling when you consider this is ongoing. Here in England yes, I think worse in Scotland and Wales, perhaps worse yet in eg Canada.

Mumsnet has been, and continues to be a hugely important resource to allow us to discuss this (fairly) freely
