Just thinking about this today. Whatever happened to the Jennifer James court case against the Labour Party shortlisting men for women posts? Was a conclusion ever reached?

Some info on all women shortlists here - you would think that the clue is in the name.

Cheers. I did do a Google search (maybe too cursory) but I could only find reference to when the initial case was started and I remember getting updates that just fizzled out.
Thats a shame.

There are a few Mumsnet threads but as you say it just fizzled out, and a few women who tried to talk to Jennifer James about it just found themselves blocked.
IMO it was useful because women discovered they had the ability to raise money for discrimination cases.

It was a daft case to bring because Labour no longer do women-only shortlists - nearly half of Labour's MPs are women so they felt they'd achieved their goal.
