The Principality is a Wales-based BS. The Welsh government recently issued a statement reinforcing its plan to offer a safe haven for LGBTQ+ people and
Tony Smith, Principality Building Society’s Chief Governance Officer, is quoted as supporting this in a. Welsh Government Press Release:

Apparently he said 'We are proud to work with Welsh Government and other partners, in their efforts to make Wales a safe haven for all.

At Principality Building Society, we believe that a diverse workforce, that reflects the communities we serve, is key to our success as a business. Our goal is to ensure that we provide an inclusive workplace for all our colleagues with a culture focused on celebrating diversity, acceptance and a sense of belonging.'

Sounds lovely and fluffy, doesn't it?

Except what they really mean is a place where women's and children's rights and their safety, privacy and dignity are trampled underfoot.

Wales (and Scotland too) feels an increasingly unsafe place to be a lesbian or a woman. No more women's centres. No support for women-only or lesbian-only initiatives unless they include men who identify as women. Lesbian and women-only groups organising underground in order to avoid having to deal with male interlopers. LGB Alliance Cymru called a hate group by members of the Welsh government. All LGB and TQ+ policy issues outsourced to Stonewall Cymru and only Stonewall-approved and Welsh government funded organisations consulted so that the government can say 'We consulted' while exclusing any dissenting or independent groups from having any input. An LGBTQ+ action plan that barely mentions LGB and is 90% about TQ+. RSE in schools devised and approved by EJ Renold, renowned gender ideologist, who would have children as young as 3 introduced to the concept of gender. A Welsh government that has refused to accept the Cass review.
