Kaukab Stewart is now Minister for Equalities in the Scottish Parliament

At a demo at the parliament last year Ms Stewart appeared beaming widely in front of a placard reading “Decapitate TERFS” with an image of a guillotine.

According to The Herald, Ms Stewart said: "I was not aware of these hateful signs when I attended today’s protest in defence of Scottish democracy and the rights of trans people, and I utterly disagree with them. Violent hate speech is totally unacceptable and has absolutely no place in our public discourse."

No conflict of interest?

I’m sure we can all rest easy knowing Kaukab Stewart will be standing up for women who stick up for women’s rights.

Just when you think they can't get any dafter

I guess the only upside is there's good reason for that image to be shown again.

Women won't wheesht, GTF and Scottish Women's Rights Network have asked Stewart for a meeting, given that she has offered to meet with the Equality Network as part of her remit.

They're still waiting for a response to my knowledge
