I’m not NHS but civil service. I’ve joined the civil service generic SEEN. There is no departmental SEEN at my outfit yet, but it’s in progress. Hope it spreads across all departments/ministries quickly as it’s really necessary. My department seems to be edging away from the worst of the overt Stonewallish guff, but there’s still loads of shady lingo and internal ra-ra yahoos in DEI jobs wedded to the cult.
I had messaged to see why SEEN wasn’t being promoted as a staff network internally. After being ignored a couple of times eventually got a sniffy reply about not promoting generic civil service wide networks but only those with a departmental chapter.
The more rank and file staff who join SEEN the less grounds they have ignoring us and for hanging onto the gender woo and language.
I mean, my department manages to promote every conceivable niche staff network down to the Pagan Staff Network (FGS, how many members can there be?) internally, but ignores SEEN.
