Not finished watching the full thing yet but roughly 11 minutes or so in Truss is talking about childcare reforms/changes she wanted to make and name drops MN saying that when it came to proposing the changes she wanted to make, Nick Clegg blocked them as he was lobbied by the Childcare Sector and by MN against it!

I may have missed it as I was eating dinner whilst watching so distracted, but anyone have any idea what Truss is on about specifically here? It seemed a bit vague to me! :S

Does anyone ever have any idea what she is on about?

(I am possibly confusing the real Truss with the brilliant version on Deadringers (Radio4) but find it hard to tell the difference.)

Wasn't this the idea to increase minimum ratios to one adult to 6 under twos? It might have increased capacity on paper but Mumsnet was fairly clear about the chaos that would ensue!
