If men aren’t washing their hands then there is no need to wipe down the taps.🙂

Door handles are another issue, a large number of women don’t wash their hands either and I always resent having to touch door handles with my clean hands to exit a public bathroom.

Ha ha - you're right of course re taps! It's too early in the morning for such stunning logic.
Maybe white gloves are the way to go to cover all bases. Like the taxi drivers wear in Japan.

Yes I'm always confused when you have to pull a door open when leaving the loos, that handle must be grim! Much prefer toilets that just have an open entrance with a cunning layout that blocks the view in.
