Thanks anyolddinosaur. I've been doing a bit in the garden today, nice weather for it.

Good to see that Naomi Cunningham is supporting Lizzie.

AnotherAngryAcademic · 29/04/2024 21:49

There’s also Linzi Smith who has been banned from attending Newcastle United games and was investigated by the premier league - she’s supported by FSU and is still fundraising 😊

MarjorieDanvers · 30/04/2024 00:09

Rachel Meade - despite her ‘win’, she has not covered her legal fees and is still trying to raise £60k +!

Really isn’t fair!

anyolddinosaur · 30/04/2024 09:39

@MarjorieDanvers Thanks. I was just coming to add Rachel after realising from another thread she still needs help. So I'll just bump this thread.

I’ve just seen that Louise Distras is still fundraising as well - “Fighting for freedom of expression in the arts”

(Louise was arrested, but it’s not clear from the fundraiser if this is a criminal trial? I think the case is ongoing at the moment. She’s being represented by Lucy Masoud)

EdithStourton · 30/04/2024 18:27

Thanks for the reminder. I'm heading out for the evening but will unlock the shed tomorrow.

fabricstash · 30/04/2024 20:21

Is there a Sue Evan's one too?

fabricstash · 30/04/2024 20:22

Thanks for the above

anyolddinosaur · 01/05/2024 09:35

Yes to Sue Evans. protect teenagers from harmful and irreversible medical treatment. Trying to get Care Quality Commission registration set aside. The barrier will be high for that one.

@anyolddinosaur I received a letter today informing me of a slight boost to my pension payments , although not much, I hope my little ‘dig’ for victory can be of some help to Rachel.

Unfortunately I don’t think it’s been widely understood that the legal costs have not been covered. This is a very important case, the burden of which should not fall on the victim.

SoupDragonsFriend · 01/05/2024 22:08

Are there any GC Green Party people with outstanding cases? I've lost track of them.

SoupDragonsFriend · 01/05/2024 22:19

For Women Scotland: 'UK Supreme Court: The Definition of Sex in the Equality Act' still short of stretch target. Usual place.
