I hope it's ok to create a thread about this, I saw this link posted yesterday and was sort of horrified by it.

https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/womens_rights/3398737-We-re-Still-Here-Conference-8th-September-A-report-from-the-inside?page=1

It's an attendees shorthand notes from a conference that took place back in 2018, which if you read through has some seriously fucked up assertions made and the whole thing is pretty sinister. It's quite clear that a small group of TRAs were intent on infiltrating women's and children's organisations from the start.

Back in 2018 I had no idea this was even happening, and I just wanted to spread this again for people like me who are new to this. It's been going on for a long time.

This turned into quite a collection of relevant threads:

That thread was very revealing wasn't it?
There's a few "Useful Idiots" as I call them who descend on here to claim that we're all right wing conspiracy theorists. That thread's very useful to counter their nonsense as is this article from James Kirkup in the Spectator detailing the Denton's report. This mapped out how those pushing this ideology were able to avoid all democratic scrutiny by infiltrating institutions and specifically targeting young people:

The document that reveals the remarkable tactics of trans lobbyists

A great deal of the transgender debate is unexplained. One of the most mystifying aspects is the speed and success of a small number of small organisations in achieving major influence over public bodies, politicians and officials. How has a certain id...

Sorry, yes I know I stole it from that other thread - I just wanted to post it as a standalone because it's so shocking to me.

Even if just a few more people read the batshittery it will be worth it.

The conference thread is well worth a read, it provides a chilling insight into what was going on behind the scenes. Similar to you OP, I was blissfully unaware at that time that gender ideology was becoming this huge, powerful thing.

I don't understand why Dentons haven't been publicly called out for this. Can Law firms just do this kind of thing with impunity?

LizzieSiddal · 15/04/2024 10:28

There has to be a public inquiry to ensure this kind of thing can never happen again.

I'm not sure - it's telling that the Denton's report has been removed from both their website and the IGLYO website.

Why remove it if they had nothing to hide? 🤔
