All the schools who let Stonewall in to do training and still display the Stonewall logo on their website. Maybe parents could check and send a friendly email asking if they are considering removing it.

mrshoho · 12/04/2024 18:41

Ooh I wonder how what Moffat is up to?

TRANSGENDER REPRESENTATION IN CHILDREN'S LITERATURE
As part of the Primary Education with QTS course, I teach a third-year English module in which students think carefully about how transgender children are represented in children’s literature. In order to prepare for this element of the course, I have collected children’s books that positively depict transgender children or use animals and even crayons as a metaphor for the transgender child as the protagonist. In this blog, I introduce you to some of my favourite examples.

The Corporation of London with a special mention for Edward Lord, who seems to have been the driving force forcing the Hampstead Ladies' Pond to be open to all who identify as ladies. This of course means that male swimmers now have the choice of three ponds: men's, mixed or ladies'. Women who can't use a mixed sex space have none.
