As so many posters on FWR have said over the years: We need a truth and reconciliation process for gender ideology.
I understand his call for the next part but I wonder if prosecutions would create martyrs. I realise this is very selective, because the harms to women who've lost jobs, income and who've been subject to the traducing of their character and reputations haven't transformed this issue for the public.
tbh, I don't ever expect colleagues, friends and family who've ostracised people over this issue to apologise spontaneously. I'd be impressed if they did but I'm sure they'll justify it with 'the wrong tone'.
As much as I would like a process that delivers apologies and forgiveness, golden bridges aren't conditional. And I'm not sure there is the time for this because none of this is a done deal, it's still in progress. But, without acknowledgement, apologies and forgiveness, will we ever understand what makes ideology so powerful that it makes people act outside of themselves because they're so confident of being on The Right Side of History?
A small but publicised set of prosecutions for the people who consciously mutilated and poisoned confused children + an opportunity for public apology and forgiveness for those who went along with it out of conformity, stupidity or ignorance.
