Campaign to get Jasmine Paris on SPOTY shortlist

I've added a comment to the main thread on the Barkley Marathons but wanted to share more wisely in case people dour see it there.

I can't share the link to the petition but if you search Change Org and Jasmin Paris should be on the Shortlist for BBC Sports Personality of the Year you should find it. 2334 signatures so far.

Jasmin has a young family, a job and is doing a PhD (hope I've got that right). I think she's inspiring!

I've signed, though I'd be very surprised if she didn't get on the shortlist anyway.

I thought she should be nominated too but it's the Footbal Euros and Olympics thus year so unlikely to be successful.
But will sign the petition.

What?! Of course! Why on earth would she be left off?

I think that the concern is she's in a niche sport without much coverage and it's a year with Olympics and Euros so just trying to give her the best chance possible.
