KJK’s insane rant

1000 replies

Dontblameitonsunshine · 26/03/2024 09:38

Kjk’s decision to attack everyone who is not her lapdog is increasingly destructive. It looks like Can-sg put on a great conference. Those doctors who have spoken up have risked their careers. Kjk has become famous and has started a business from LWS. She has benefited way more than any of these doctors.

Her work could be powerful if she just stopped attacking everyone else. But these days she is a demagogue and causes more harm than good by capitalising on vulnerable and timid women and telling them that they need her to speak for them.

Part 2 - #FirstDoNoHarm although maybe #FirstDoSomeHarm - what will it take for medics to catch up?

Random. Don't MNHQ have a standard disclaimer about qualifications of people posting on the Internet?

I'm not claiming to be anything. I'm saying why I am suspicious of her (that and the fact she made a negative impression on me when she posted on here way back, I'm not a fan). Take it or leave it. I'm just putting my perspective into the conversation.

Can you tell us if you were ever supportive of her?

spannasaurus · 28/03/2024 17:52

SaffronSpice · 28/03/2024 17:41

Woman's place UK is also a limited company not a charity

You can be both at the same time.

Agreed. Many charities are incorporated as companies but woman's place UK is not registered as a charity

EasternStandard · 28/03/2024 17:53

AdamRyan · 28/03/2024 17:49

Not really Eastern, if you are making money you have to have some form of company to put it into or you are tax dodging and potentially money laundering.
The easiest is sole trader but I'm guessing she is taking quite some legal risk and doesn't want to lose everything should she get sued and lose.

After that it would be Ltd company, like she's gone for.

Are you claiming KJK is tax dodging or money laundering?

OldCrone · 28/03/2024 17:53

AdamRyan · 28/03/2024 17:32

How would I find out how much money her private Ltd. Company is making?
That's kind of my point. The way she's structured her affairs means it's hard to know what money she makes or what she spends it on. If she were running a charity or not for profit it would be clear (and subject to rules).

It's just one of a number of red flags about her (for me).

A woman running her own business is a 'red flag'?

SaffronSpice · 28/03/2024 17:55

If we are talking of political parties that lack transparency and potential fraud tand misappropriating funds, the I give to you…

The SNP

Well obviously. Women shouldn’t do that sort of thing.

Or apparently 'just dodgy', because apparently she was not nice once.

I remember a poster in the last year or so who told us how much they despised Kellie Jay because she wasn't pleasant in some kind of interaction. That poster then spread falsehoods about her education and her relationship on threads.

What? Women set up limited companies all the time

It’s standard and a good way to grow a business

Why single out one person you crossed swords with on mn ages ago

Are you sure you’re not creating a bigger thing in your mind about what is normal? Ltd co is fine, legal and standard and has reporting regulations.

KellieJaysLapdog · 28/03/2024 18:01

Pretty sure KJK has at least one part time employee now (packing and posting shirts) so Adam’s suggestion of registering as a sole trader wouldn’t be an option anyway?

Sole traders can employ people. Using a limited company is far more sensible though because of the limited liability

Underthinker · 28/03/2024 18:05

@AdamRyan do you have any evidence that Keir Starmer isn't running an illegal badger baiting ring from a disused warehouse in Holburn? Bit of a red flag if not.

EasternStandard · 28/03/2024 18:09

At what point do these posts become libellous

Claiming fraudulence seems to be aimed at stopping a livelihood without any basis whatsoever

Other than remembering some unpleasant posts ages ago

The jealously just drips off the page.

Women have been allowed to run their own business for years now, much to the chagrin of these chaps.

Thanks Spanna.

And I would think that anyone who is subject to being sued or charged with anything would certainly want to the protection a limited company would give. But apparently..... RED FLAG TERRRITORY!

AlisonDonut · 28/03/2024 18:15

I've had a limited business before.

Little old me. I did all the bids, work, invoicing, payments, tax payments and tax returns.

I hired, I trained, my name on the insurance, I recruited trainees, I trained them, I reported on them, I did it all.

I had a business partner who I taught with. And I also managed to hold down another part time jobs and do private consulting at the same time.

I didn't need a penis for any of it. Some people are so behind the times and traditional in their thinking.

If one of my clients told me they wanted to run a similar entity as a sole trader rather than ltd company or LLP I would tell them they were a fool

SaffronSpice · 28/03/2024 18:25

Most charities if not limited companies are CIO or SCIO these days which also have limited liability.

IwantToRetire · 28/03/2024 18:33

Oh dear I see the thread has gone on another detour thanks to what must by now be known to be a merry prankster who loves a bit of a windup of FWRers. Hmm

yes. I expect so. The personal risk is enormous.

And I also suspect that some people don't realise the additional reporting that charities have too. That is just another cost. Imagine, a charity with just one or two people dealing with it all.

Fucking A, Adam.

You really don't like gobby, strong women very much do you.

😄

(Edited to include a derisive snort)

ADoggyDogWorld · 28/03/2024 18:39

So are we purity-spiralling KJK. She earns money from selling her slogan tops and tshirts - 'merch' as the young people call it. But she shouldn't be earning money because, um, reasons. And therefore is an Awful Woman, to be avoided lest we open our purses and spend our pinmoney on unneccessaries. mmhmm

Or, let us wims be to make our own mistakes and we'll be ever so sure to not come running to anyone if it All Goes Wrong.

EasternStandard · 28/03/2024 17:53

No, why would you think that? I'm saying people need a company to process income legally Confused

I liked her interview with Adrian Harrop and found her initial speakers corner stuff entertaining.
But then I found Katie Hopkins funny on the Apprentice too 😂
