Really interesting (and scary) about the effect of high levels of Testosterone in women and how it leads to behaviour that is harmful to themselves. I don’t think I had heard/ read about that before.

So many interesting talking points in that video.

She talks about how in the trans community much emphasis is placed on people being open and without sexual boundaries, and how this is sold as being liberating; about how high levels of testosterone in women lead to increased sexual driive - and then being encouraged to enagage in all manner of sexual activity; to dsplay one's body; get involved with porn; with kink, and sometimes with prostitution.

You can see with the teenage girls especially just how much of it is a form of self harm.

Self harm that is now glorified and actively encouraged instead of helping them deal with the trauma behind it.

The lack of boundaries and violation of others' boundaries is what turned me against the trans movement. It always bothered me bc it seemed like a Cluster B clusterfuck, where one of the problems is poor boundaries (in general, not all trans ppl, etc.) but reading about the cotton ceiling, how trans women were demanding to be housed w female prisoners (where they were trapped with sex abusers), etc. made me realize it was rape culture, pure and simple. I will not support rape culture, whatever its form.

Carol, the detransitioner speaks of how when she was first transitioning the support groups were single sex - all the FtM in one group and the MtF in another- but when they had mixed sex sessions the MtF would interject when the FtM spoke , telling them that they were displaying 'male privilege' and should shut up and let the 'women' speak.

A topsy turvy world of craziness and fantasy role play. Telling women to 'shut up' reveals much resentment on the part of the men, not empathy. This identification 'as' women has nothing to do with sympathy or understanding, and everything to do with actual privilege.
