Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” shares a DM clip of “The Joe Rogan Experience” where swimmer Riley Gaines blows Rogan’s mind when she shares never-before-told details of her swimming match against trans athlete Lia Thomas and how it made her become an advocate for women’s sports.

She's a brave tenacious woman

It's such a powerful moment when she describes looking at the starting line for the swimming race with two transitioners (Lia Thomas and Iszac Henig).

The top 8 women i the entire country and you've got a 6ft 4' man in a women's swimsuit with the bulge—next to a woman wearing only a Speedo with nothing covering her top. My reaction was your reaction [to Joe Rogan) 'coz I'm sitting there, watching this, I'm thinking to myself, "It's me. I'm the crazy one. I must be. This is the freaking Twilight Zone."

And when Gaines describe the swimming official trying to come up with a justification as to why Thomas has to be the one to take the trophy after their dead heat.

She was a fine athlete, but she's an amazing advocate. So composed and articulate.

The abuse and intimidation she's subjected to is disgraceful.

I listened to the whole thing. It’s a fascinating discussion and Riley is always impressive.
