Excellent news - men have no place in women’s sport.

He does look a lot older than 30 - is he identifying as younger?

I’m sure they will throw their toys out the pram and appeal because in these cases it’s always ‘me me me me me me me’ - they don’t give a shit about fairness and the female golfers they’re shafting.

But definitely a common sense decision and hopefully another small step towards the shift in this nonsense.

A lot of trans gender women are into high level competitive sports aren't they.

I wonder if there is a statistic to confirm whether a disproportionate amount are involved in sports.

Maybe Davidson has lost speed/power since 'transitioning' - but women's sport is for women - females - not impaired males.

There's no reason to separate anything by 'gender', it makes no sense as of course unlike sex it's not a binary.

Some positive news for once. Look at the size and shape. Of course thar golfer will have had advantages over most women.

And as for blaming people not liking trans. I didn't even notice the whole trans thing as an issue until really recently because I literally didn't give a toss about men in dresses. It was when I realised men were pretending to be women and to take rights and prizes away from women that I started to care.

Saying they are women means they get a big leg up over biological women.

The desire is always to see women subordinated. The open category removes that opportunity.

It doesn't matter what their motivation is or how good they are relative to other people in their preferred category, Hailey does not belong in women's sport because Hailey is not a woman. This would apply even if Hailey was barely capable of making the golf club connect with the ball.

I have had several off-the-record conversations with people in the competitive golf world, including those with the PGA, LPGA, LIV, Aramco, ownership groups and sponsors.
Their private feedback is overwhelmingly consistent.
Davidson was a mediocre…golfer, who never had a real chance at making it in the PGA. But now Davidson is in the running for one of the most highly coveted spots in women's sports.
How is that fair to women?
Why can't Davidson, who earned a college scholarship as a…athlete, compete against men?
The telling answer that some trans athletes in the golf world – and beyond – will never admit is that they'd never make that cut.

Yes they wouldn't make the cut using their biological identity and so they use their biological advantage to push women aside and basically cheat their way to winning.

They don't see that because to them its all about me me me me me and not the women they push aside.

This nonsense must completely stop in all sports and previous titles and trophies taken back, pretty much like when winners are found to have won by taking drugs. Strip awards. Cheats should never win.

Can’t be shared enough

Sometimes I wonder whether I should try and persuade DH to just get in touch with his inner lady feels and join a few women's teams (he does quite a bit of childcare and tends - in a traditionally womanly way - to put the kids first so I think he has a more rational claim to this than a lot of the transwomen who screw over their kids by transitioning when sitting exams - though we all know you just have to self declare, as men are in droves in Spain).

If a few Dads whose daughters were being denied fair sport, put at physical risk and forced to get changed with male bodies did this then it would be wonderful sunlight.
