even a very 'permissive' (towards TW) policy might e.g. say that to be considered for housing in a women's prison a male prisoner must tick at least two of the following three boxes: a) has had full surgery; b) has been demonstrably 'living as a woman™' for a decent amount of time before the arrest; and c) the arrest isn't related to violence against women.

a 'lassie' like Isla Bryson would get zero ticks and as such be told to do one.

No surgery is required to obtain a GRC so it's highly unlikely any other policy would stipulate such a criterion.

Well English prison policy states no intact males can be placed in female jails so there's no reason for the spss not to do the same
