Trans and Non-Binary Liberation Officer at EU Robyn Woof has resigned in protest at Simon Fanshawe becoming a rector.
Woof has also resigned from his role in the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
You may remember Woof got arrested for spitting on a woman who wanted to watch a film.

I've just read the article and can summarise for anyone who's busy watching paint dry or something equally important...

A man, who does not look like he's from an ethnic background, who does not sound like he comes from an area of deprivation, who must have a thorough education behind him, is very tired because people recognise his sex? Is this sort of thinking diagnosable as some sort of personality disorder? It's staggering.

I enjoyed the fact that he couldn't bring himself to pronounce the word Mx (I believe it's pronounced "mucks" ) but repeatedly said M X .

Mx is apparently pronounced micks or mucks

Having spent an entertaining few minutes on the internet, I have found that some people don't like Mx as a gender neutral honorific.

They use other titles such as "Mistrum". Which reminds me of Mustrum Ridcully.

Sharetoken, here. I know quite a few Edi students and they seem to be completely unbothered or even quite pleased by this appointment, no anger as far as I can tell.
