Complete with the man who tried to legislate on women's bodies (by a sleight of hand defunding hospitals which perform abortions), whining that those pesky Democrats were insisting on a vote on his actual bill.

And to be pernickety, they didn't force the bill's supporters in the House of Delegates to vote against it.

They just forced them to vote on it.

Turns out a lot didn't fancy nailing their colours to the mast in front of the electorate.
