There was a thread about this maybe a couple of weeks back. I've not yet read your linked piece, OP, but it might be adding some info.

Anyway, bloody good job it's gone.

From what I recall (after the last thread) the £30k loss was for their accounts 2022. However, another 12 months has gone by so I imagine financially things haven’t improved.

Wow, I just read the comments in the Daily Mail - lots of people seem to know what's going on and are not happy.

The Grift Bubble has burst on child trans charities.

I suspect it's possibly a lot like Mermaids and did a lot of expansion in a short time frame and increased their running costs, then the bubble burst with the Cass Review and funding and take up of courses stopped.

Mermaids ran to a loss last year, and whilst they have reserves to cover it they are going to have to make a lot of cuts to their expenses to survive. Meanwhile the number of course they did over halved.

I suspect this lot didn't have funds in the bank to continue to carry the loses they were clocking up.

It may not be something more scandalous.

Good riddance. I would pay money to keep my children away from this organisation.

My daughter's primary school absolutely adored this bunch of charlatans - I'm so happy they've disappeared themselves (even though I'm sure another bunch of woo-mongers will take their place).

Peter Tatchell was a Patron. I asked them several times if they were concerned about his documented views on child/adult relationships. They didn't reply.

Funny that, I can't imagine why they'd have an issue with agreeing with him or publicly defend their association with him in anyway 🤔

I’m sure the managers/trustees will pop up somewhere else.
