Transwomen have been convicted of rape. Being trans doesn’t prevent those charges.

Very true @BackToLurk but I guess it depends how captured that force is. If they blindly accept TWAW and also accept that women do not have a penis, therefore techincally this couldn't be rape in the legal sense. Even if he/perpetrator did have one physically. Even if he/perpetrator used it at the time. It's the disconnect.

Got to laugh at the description in the article though, "A person identifying as a transgender woman". So identifying as someone who is identifying as a woman. Maybe even inclusive trans people don't want him on their team.

Thank goodness there are some people who give a shit about crimes against children. The police obviously aren't that bothered given they're doing all they can to prevent witnesses coming forward.

Scrolled through the first 50 or so replies unanimously pointing out it was a bloke. Even before the community note was added. People are not buying this shit any more.

He is not out. The address given for BK is that of Limerick Jail. The offences were committed in that jail and at least one of the women threatened was a female prisoner.

I wonder if the lawyers/police interviewing that poor child will refer to the man who penetrated her as a woman. If so, shame on them- lying to a girl about what happened to her.

To be honest I no longer understand how the law works at all regarding sex crimes.

What particularly concerns me is how many other cases don’t get reported. I suspect many don’t, which is another reason I don’t buy these, “something that never happens” claims.
