I read on reddit the other day a trans man talking about their marvellous treatment during egg retrieval on the nhs. They were provided with their own waiting room, a private recovery room, and were allowed to forego the usual vaginal scanning because it was triggering (Christ knows how they'll handle a pregnancy should one of their eggs get that far).
What the actual fuck?!! I mean we'd all love a bit of soothing privacy and kidgloves while having gynae investigations but somehow ordinary women have to just suck up the bog standard treatment.
This person said they didn't actually want kids, but thought they'd have eggs taken just in case, seeing as how it's free.
Trans rights = trans privilege.
