The first letter here says "Prizing your own freedom of speech over other people’s ability to live safe and good lives leads to a weird form of feminism". FFS! Demanding actual physical safety and dignity, including access to single sex care and services when needed, for women and girls, isn't about "prizing freedom of speech" in any shape or form. Putting it like this is completely disingenuous. And this person knows it...

Frankie is obviously projecting.

Look at the first sentence:

“A dogged insistence on a right to believe in the immutability of biological sex”

I’m not doggedly insisting on anything. This is simply a fact I have known for a very long time, which hasn’t changed. It’s Frankie who has bought into something untrue and is doggedly insisting it’s true, even in the face of the obvious fact that it’s nonsense.

Letter number two, with its insistence that gender identity must be prioritized over sex is a more honest take, even if I solidly disagree with that stance for the reasons regularly outlined on this board.

I think it is entirely about free speech. How you you demand the things you need without free speech. I definitely “prize free speech above other people’s ability to live safe and good lives” if that has come to mean forcing others to pretend they believe in your fantasies. Their whole argument is based on twisted language and hyperbole.

😂

So we've accepted that you can't legally force people to enable you and your role play of choice, and we're shifting to an attempt at 'But nice people are codependent should selflessly enable and serve me more important others without counting the cost to themselves'.

Well that's quite encouraging really.

the "nice people" argument is very much like the "tru trans" argument, IMO

A dogged insistence on a right to believe in the immutability of biological sex

Genderism is very much a one-way road. Genderists doggedly insist on the right to believe what they believe, and they deny that right everybody else. Where they do, grudgingly, accept that others may believe differently to them, they require the unbelievers to play along with genderist beliefs.

We all have the right to believe whatever we believe. We all have the right to be doggedly insistent about our own beliefs.

Our own beliefs. Not anybody else's.

So bugger off with demanding that I acquiesce to your beliefs.
