New Police SEEN network set up by courageous serving officers

Brave serving police officers have started a new SEEN network to challenge the dangerous capture of the police by queer theory activism. They state that they "seek to ensure that our Forces return focus to the Peelian Principles and uphold the law as it is written, free from ideological bias and the influence of politically motivated activist employees and lobby groups"

Apparently they're all serving police officers and are looking to reverse the "errors in policing which should never have been allowed to happen and the culture of fear which has been allowed to prevail".

Good luck to them. The extent the police have been captured (especially at senior levels) by a dangerous anti child safeguarding, anti women ideology has been shameful.

Good on them. Very brave. Every little step helps.

GailBlancheViola · 30/01/2024 15:52

Good luck to them and about time. We'll see just how deep the rot has gone with the reaction to and success of this group.

Lottapianos · 30/01/2024 15:54

Good for them. More power to them

GailBlancheViola · 30/01/2024 15:58

I wonder if our favourite 'police' poster Felix will sign up😆

MrsOvertonsWindow · 30/01/2024 16:11

Courage calls to courage and all that.
It must feel very intimidating for them - but suspect they've got lots of support both from the public and fellow officers determined to see the police returned to being a politically neutral force free from intimidation.

There is a Civil Service SEEN as well, which I am part of. Good on the police for setting this up...Good luck to them dismantling all the gender-based nonsense though.

BoreOfWhabylon · 30/01/2024 19:19

Excellent news!

IdaPrentice · 30/01/2024 19:23

What is SEEN?

FlickFlackTrap · 30/01/2024 19:30

It’s fantastic.

PaleBlueMoonlight · 30/01/2024 22:33

Well done to them. Great news and tweets.

MrsOvertonsWindow · 30/01/2024 22:38

I like the way they will interview all prospective members - good move to keep everyone safe from the unhinged transactivists who currently run amok in the police service.

This is great - that's the civil service (the original SEEN network), financial sector (SEEN in the City - love the name!) and now the police who've set one up! Next we really need an NHS SEEN, as that's seriously captured by genderism - fingers crossed someone's already working on one behind the scenes, but if not maybe this will be a nudge?!

ArabellaScott · 01/02/2024 09:49

Best of luck to them, and thank you.

oldwomanwhoruns · 01/02/2024 12:44

This is huge news. Time for them to tell the 'inclusive' brigade that excluding women is just not, erm, inclusive 😂

An article by Jo Bartosch in the Critic about the new network.

https://thecritic.co.uk/seen-should-be-heard/

The level of capture and misinformation in the Police force is chilling.

That's a very powerful article and gives an insight into the frightening capture of the police by an anti democratic, anti women & anti child safeguarding ideology. It also emphasises the personal courage of these police officers - there are some truly scary powerful individuals promoting this.

Interesting to see that they:
"suspect activist influence within the College of Policing is impacting on the training offered. We’re also getting informal diversity training sessions, some of which are directly run by lobbyists"

The ability of the self interested transactivists to set themselves up as "trainers" and the gullibility of institutions, along with their failure to engage any critical thinking about motivation and ethics enables all this.

Thank you to all the police officers speaking up about this. Flowers

There is also a SEENinHR.

LarkLane · 06/02/2024 18:36

I wish them well, it sounds a positive move.

That's fantastic. Due to the threats of and the actual violence women face when we speak up about reality, throughout history women have made a difference through group organization. Once we understand our strength in numbers we seem collectively to reach a tipping point where we fight back en masse. It seems that women (and men who also acknowledge reality) are getting the courage in larger numbers to push back against a deranged and delusional minority. Gender Ideology seems to be the first (western) world psych-op of the internet age. Hopefully critical thinking, ethics and the danger of crowds and mass delusion will take a firm place in school curricula in the future.

I think there is a more recent thread about all the different SEENs but cant find it.

But this news fits is quite well here I think.

'Gender critical' Scots cops want police force to recognise their views

Police officers who are “gender critical” want the force to recognise their views. Some have applied for permission to form a staff association for protection against disciplinary action.

The Police Sex Equality and Equity Network, recognised in England, has now applied for that status in Scotland. The network is opposed to trans-officers strip-searching the opposite biological sex and recording crime data on gender self-identification.

Please report the other one.

ahagwearsapointybonnet · 08/02/2025 00:16

That account's been reported loads, but nothing seems to happen to it... dunno why!
