The Grauniad has held up a licked finger and detected a change in the wind, methinks.

Praying in the name of the goddesses of sense (aka the women who post on this board) that this is true!

But they have also put a link on that page to another opinion piece expressing a contrary view. So still trying the old appeasement, it seems.

They'll post whatever gets clicks.

@SiobhanSharpe True. But being an optimist I am hoping the toe is firmly lodged in the door and will be pushed open with our boot before too long. In the meanwhile, this board keeps me hopeful...

the gruan will need to publish a front page editorial with a grovelling apology for all the gender BS they have been shovelling for years now. They also need to admit that Suzanne Moore (and possibly Hadley freeman) would most likely win an ET for unfair dismissal due to the crappy atmosphere at gruan towers. They then need to back it up with proper reporting on GI stuff which is within hailing distance of reality. Then, and only then, will I consider them a serious paper, like it used to be.

I don’t mind other opinions being expressed. I want women to be able to express their opinions and not be discriminated against.

Aside from the gender stuff, it was the completely uncritical puff piece about the Family Sex Show that had my jaw dropping. To not have any questions about that... what are journalists being taught these days?!
