The Telegraph have followed it up with this, imo, nonsensical article

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/columnists/2024/01/24/boarding-school-trans-policies/

https://archive.ph/uNubj

She starts off with anecdotes about how brutal school can be for pupils who are different, particularly the homophobia. Then goes off on a complete tangent (trangent?), but the safeguarding risks of essentially having mixed sex dorms seem to completely pass her by.

Tries to blame the government for lack of guidance, which is fair enough. Gives the schools a total pass for their utter fucking lack of common sense.

There's a lame attempt to ties them together at the end.

I wish I could read the comments.

I don’t know what boarding school ‘trans policies’ should be, but I’m glad they have them

Twenty years ago, most boarding schools overlooked pupils who felt different to everyone else – and those pupils suffered for it

Gosh - what a sensible policy. This couldn't possibly go wrong, could it?

I can imagine most parents (particularly of daughters) are going to have something to say about this, whether their daughters are girls, or transboys.

If their "daughters" are transgirls they may not object to it, of course.

And where di all the "enby's" sleep?
