I just watched the documentary about this utter shit bag, human garbage, of a man , if i ever felt i could actually kill a human then he would be it.

When i was young and poor in the eighties the only place i could afford to live was in a red light city area.

i knew old school pros in the pub and some of their pimps even then strutting around with their bling.

And how these women were trapped.

It’s the same old same old. But back in my day no man that i knew would aspire to this.

And then here we are now young boys thinking they can climb out of the mundanity of their own lives by following him.

And worst of all his prostitutes pumping out videos about how lovely he is. With little children maybe his……..

just a rant ….

I had to switch off after tuning into the documentary for five minutes. It was absolutely abhorrent / disgusting. What a cretin of a human.

dapsnotplimsolls · 07/01/2024 23:20

An awful lot was explained in the first 10 mins - Dad treated his Mum like crap and his Mum eventually took him and his brother to another country.

Karensalright · 07/01/2024 23:28

misogyny seems to be rooted in displacement of mother by pig fathers, god i hate most men.

The other thing is a n awful lot of women are lacking a ‘perp alert” they seem to be drawn to these ‘alpha males” who hurt them

I had to leave the room. It was so upsetting.

PermanetlyTiredPigeon · 07/01/2024 23:56

I started watching but I had to switch off. The man is disgusting!

Castellanos · 08/01/2024 01:05

It was a traumatic watch, but I'm glad I persevered. Had a good chat with my teen boys about it afterwards, so grateful that it made me do that at least. It's scary the influence this excuse of a man has had. I can't help but think he's responsible for a lot of the general disdain felt by our young people at the mo. He's the epitome of an abusive narcissist and I cannot fathom how society has got to such a state that we ended up giving such a massive platform to such a wanker.

Mambo1986 · 08/01/2024 07:26

I wouldn’t just blindly believe anything I’m told. Have you actually checked the truth of all this I mean I’d be suprised if you have even listened to him speak before. Also why isn’t he in jail? Didn’t he spend like 6 months in holding while they combed his properties and didn’t find anything and was released without charge. If all this is true then surely something would have came up? Worries me you think this guy should be the most hated when there are celebrities which have knowingly slept with minors and no one says anything.

JusticeTrade · 08/01/2024 07:31

@Mambo1986 it's not either/or, all the men you mention are creeps, Tate is a scumbag.

Castellanos · 08/01/2024 08:11

TRIGGER WARNING to anyone thinking of watching it - it does show pretty graphic video footage of him apparently "role playing" an abusive but "consensual" sex scene. In my book anyone who thinks that is remotely OK, role playing or otherwise, is morally inept.

I kind of wish I hadn't watched as it's affected me, but glad I did in a way as it's explained a lot. My eldest, worryingly, said he'd been reserving judgement until he'd been put in prison (a bit like @Mambo1986 viewpoint). I was at least able to explain my "wrong-un" radar went into overdrive just from listening to things that came out of his mouth and seeing his behaviour with my own eyes. There was NOTHING likeable about him at all. He's a prime example of everything that's wrong about capitalism. Both my boys came out with his strapline "where's your bugatti?" which seems to be his gotcha phrase. Geez there's a lot of work needed to undo the harm he has caused 😕

Flowers for anyone triggered by watching.

FrancescaContini · 08/01/2024 08:21

I couldn’t even watch the trailer for the programme.

He said his dad was diagnosed with NPD but he's not got it himself. Yeah right, he's an absolute textbook NPD.

FreeAdamsApples · 08/01/2024 11:58

I watched it very closely. He absolutely believes in himself. Yes to NPD, possibly more.

When his daughter came running in and he smiled and picked her up I had a glimmer of hope that there was some humanity there but after a couple of seconds he asked her sharply if she was lying, or something like that. I worry for that child. And any others he has. They are going to end up with serious issues.

For all the stuff he boasts about having and being, he is not happy.

That lad at the end, photographing or filming himself smoking a ciggar, oh dear. I squirmed.

It would be interesting to hear from anyone who was a fan of Tate's who is now not.

whyisntanelephantblue · 08/01/2024 12:03

My Step-brother loved him until his girlfriend threatened to break up and she spent all day pointing out how Andrew Tate was a POS

He's utter scum

mrsdanrose · 08/01/2024 15:09

I watched the first 15 mins with my 15 year old son who thought "he's a bit misunderstood" at least he's no longer my son's hero but I hate that he's influenced a generation😢

ArabellaScott · 08/01/2024 17:14

Hm. I'm divided whether it would be a good thing to let teen boys watch this to reveal the issues or whether it would actually be harmful for them.

Any thoughts? I doubt I'd be able to watch it myself, so it sounds perhaps too much for a teenager.

Castellanos · 08/01/2024 17:20

I didn't watch it with mine and tbh wouldn't let my younger one. I'm still in 2 minds with my eldest, but recognise I'm a bit triggered at the mo so possibly OTT.

Castellanos · 08/01/2024 19:00

There's defo scope for a teen-friendly documentary on this, I hope someone comes up with something. One of the actual heroes they showed was a secondary teacher who was trying to debunk this shite in class.

mrsdanrose · 08/01/2024 19:22

@ArabellaScott I would say not appropriate at all. That's why I turned it off after 15 mins. I found it ridiculously upsetting. I knew he was bad but I had no idea how awful he was.

ArabellaScott · 08/01/2024 20:57

Thanks, both. I'll wait for something more suitable.

mirax · 09/01/2024 04:22

Tate has plenty of friends and supporters especially after his conversion to Islam. I live in Singapore. Malaysian and Indonesian twitter was full of praise for him once he became muslim. Before that, he had support from extreme RW types and MRAs. That such an obviously sick fuck is able to rise to prominence off pimping women tells you how sick society is.

So you believe plausible allegations against other celebrities regarding child abuse (though they haven't been tried and found guilty either) but you won't believe the allegations against Tate, even though his utter misogyny and general arseholery is on public display for all to see?

All you have to do is watch some of his videos. He even bragged that one of the reasons he went to Romania was because of their lax legal attitude to rape.

He condemns himself constantly, with his own words, he sees women as meat, only there for his advantage. He said that, if he was with a woman who had a job, he'd take all her money. He's a misogynist control freak.

He was in prison, but he's been bailed to house arrest.

flyingbuttress43 · 09/01/2024 14:59

One of the most worrying things is that this so-called man (I prefer the term disgrace to humanity or maybe antithesis of alpha male)has a daughter when he is clearly not fit to be within a mile of any female.

misscockerspaniel · 09/01/2024 17:33

I watched it and thought, thank God social media wasn't around in the 1930s. Hitler would have had a field day, judging by the gullibility of the young men shown in the programme.

Anyone who hasn't seen it, should do so.
