Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

Makes you agree with Germainem Greer when she stated that women will never know how much men hate us. There's no doubt in my mind that this decision was made by males...

If a man wants to hit a woman using a sporting context, I can think of not many redder flags

JellySaurus · 04/01/2024 09:16

Look at that headline: Boxer Amanda Serrano slams decision to allow transgender women to fight females.

The Mirror used the word WOMEN for male people, but not for female people.

Amanda uses the words women and men correctly and unambiguously.

This is truly sickening. If a man wants to box then his opponents should be men.
If a man wants to box women it shouldn’t be allowed.
We all have to deal with the cards we have. We all probably have things we would like to do but through our own limitations we can’t. If a man can’t box against a man then he has to accept he can’t box.

If some women can go along with putting male rapists in female prisons, they could probably go along with letting males hit women in amateur boxing.

Not every crazy decision depends on hatred.

Legalised violence against women, it's sickening.

No, just craziness. Some people justify putting men in women's prisons by saying "If you can't take the time, don't do the crime." I wouldn't be surprised if those same people justify allowing men to punch women by saying "If you don't want to get hit, don't do boxing."

Both boxing and prison are very 'unfeminine' activities, and some women have no issue with punishing other women who engage in unfemininity.

Brendan O'Neill in Spiked

Not mincing his words.

As they're set on allowing men to beat up women, I wonder if the requirement to be... to have undergone genital ablation (I think that's another way of saying castration) would withstand a legal challenge? It had to be dropped for awarding a grc.

Giving a green light to male violence against women

USA Boxing’s new rules will allow men to batter women in the boxing ring.

Great article in Spiked. It's horrific but I think the ludicrous and unfair activities in many sports are peaking a lot of people. Hopefully this will result in action before many more women get injured.
