So the latest figures for hate crimes and non crime hate incidents have been realised by police Scotland. Slightly embarrassingly for them it seems that they have recorded more nchi's than actual hate crimes 😳, as such they have now been forced into looking at following the UK guidelines on recording hate incidents that prioritises free speech and ignores offensive speech and hurt feelings.
However as the new hate law that comes into affect in February makes hurting the feelings of, or offending a special group (by stating biological facts) will no longer be non crimes but actual hate crimes is there any point in the review?
