(Lots of the coverage seems to lead with the fact Westminster is planning to recover costs from Holyrood. Stonewall are loudest about how this doesn’t mean there was anything at all wrong with the law; this is a travesty for The Most Vulnerable; & please give Stonewall all your money so they can keep trying to drag the UK into line with Canada & Ireland.)

No it is not important to remember that. The Court also didn't rule on timeliness of the council fixing potholes and why would it? It had nowt to do with the decision in hand.

Stonewall really are shameless. They know why the Court didn’t rule on Bill itself; we know why they didn’t - but we all know lots of people will think (as Stonewall means them to) that the Court was thus effectively endorsing the Bill; not that commenting on it in that sense was outwith their remit so they’d never do so.
