OK there is a trans character in Dr Who and my kids are fans if the previous series. I wonder how much of the new season is going to be making positive points about gender change and if I am going to have to explain the well documented problems of trans ideology in general.

Maybe it will just be running round after Daleks but who knows. ..

The whole season is around binary/non binary. The first episode was resolved around rose being non binary (?!). The trailer for the anniversary special was given in a clue written in binary. The doctor bigenerated instead of regenerated. It’s obviously going to be a big thread running through the whole thing.
