Wear & Resist

Wear & Resist kept popping up in my social media feeds (probably because I kept on clicking on them!)

I was interested as they are marketing themselves as women founded and women supporting, making donations to women’s charities with purchases.

I’ve gone and had a look at the charities they support and the charities mostly seem to support women who ‘self identify’ as women.

I’m so disappointed - where should my Christmas tat be bought from instead?!

Oh that’s disappointing. Oh well they were overpriced anyway.

Posie has all sorts of goodies and Wild Womyn Workshop too for tshirts etc Also Keep Prisons Same Sex as well.

Women charities - go for local ones and ask about their policies. Aurora New Dawn is a local one down here that same sex based for women who have experienced abuse. Womens Aid can be problematic like in Scotland, they allow men to identify into women's spaces I believe.

Thank you - I’ll have a look around. The Sparks Company is another one that appears in my social media and they refer to ‘cis men’ in their ‘who are we statement’.

I find it very frustrating when these companies promote themselves as ‘smashing the patriarchy’ when they are supporting the patriarchy when they call it ‘inclusive feminism’.

Absolutely don't purchase from the Spark Company unless you believe TWAW.
