Imagine being gender critical and working for or, worse, being 'in the care of' prisons or probation.

I still don't understand why the rules stipulate they can fly other flags as well as the Union flag (exception being individual country flag along side it)

I have nothing against the original proper Pride flag, but when it comes to government buildings, prisons, council offices etc then surely there is no reason for them to be flying anything other than the Union flag

Interesting cake. I think that I now cannot see flying anything but the regional/city/eu flag along with the national flag as anything but a political statement that is usually ill conceived. I mean obviously, you would fly the Olympic flag where relevant or an indigenous people’s flag but why would you fly a political movement’s flag these days?

OMG don't get me started. The flags schtick is absurd. Locally we have a flagpole that is the source of many bickering arguments between Union flag, Saltire, council flag, rainbow flag, etc. There are strict rules on when flags go up, down, halfway, which can be flown etc.

I fucking hate flags.

Coming from Northern Ireland, well known for having 'tensions' around flags, I know how you feel. I hate the bloody things too (and the territory marking people engage in over here of painting the kerbs of certain areas in flag colours).

I think the number of tw in women's prisons should be zero (inmates or guards). I don't care if they have a grc, that's irrelevant to me. It seems we have between 0 and 5 bog standard tw and an unknown number with a grc.
