I’m on Allison Baileys mailing list and I have received this email from her regarding her latest win against Garden Court. I’ll copy and paste it all as it is well worth a read. Congratulations to Allison and her tenacity in seeing this through. Allison had benefitted us all with this

Allison has come out of this looking like an utter star.

Whereas GCC, on the other hand....

And yet she is the one who has left the bar and they are still in work. It doesn’t feel fair, does it?

I hope that whatever it is that Allison is doing now it is infinitely better for her well-being than working with those utter asshats.

Allison is an incredible woman with a TV-drama worthy backstory. I have nothing but respect for her history, her intelligence, her heart and her spirit.

It's is the statement which @boudiccathecat pasted

"They have still made no acknowledgment of their unlawful conduct and I have had to leave Garden Court, and the Bar."

No, not at all.
Isn't there some sort of professional body that can go after them for bringing the profession into disrepute?

Although the case against Garden Court has now concluded, the litigation against Stonewall continues. My appeal against them is to be heard on 13 and 14 May 2024 at the Employment Appeal Tribunal. Ben Cooper KC is again instructed

Just a reminder this is coming up. <clears diary for BC and his support wren>
If anyone knows how to apply for remote hearing, please post details.

Oh, on 14 May I might be sitting on a ferry for 7 hours with nothing to do. I could actually follow along rather than dipping in and out alongside work.

Another good news day. So pleased for her.
